Program Overview​

UMass has the #1 dining hall in the US. Most MSCS courses are fairly easy, making it very suitable for coasting through while focusing on job hunting. UMass is located in Massachusetts, close to Boston.

  1. International student, GPA 3.6, IELTS 8.0, 4+ years work experience, 3 LORs from professors and co-workers
  2. VIT CS undergrad 9.0/10, JPMorganChase three and a half years full-time, with multiple internships during undergrad
  3. Indian undergrad, GPA 8.1/10
  4. Indian undergrad, GPA 9.48/10
  5. IIT CS undergrad, GPA 9.5/10, Microsoft one year full-time
  6. Indian undergrad, GPA 9.5/10
  7. UMass CS undergrad, GPA 4.0

Job Outcomes & Data Points​

In previous years, spring-enrolled students also received CPT to help with job hunting. Landing jobs mainly relies on Amazon to extend offers, and Tesla also gave out quite a few offers.
